You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
-- Mahatma Ghandi
"It is said that Buddha lived on one cannabis seed a day. Marijuana has been used as medicine for thousands of years and, indeed, in all of history no one has ever died from a marijuana overdose. Meth, crack and heroin are destroying our communities - yet our government insists on targeting and prosecuting marijuana cases. The penalty for growing this God-given plant is often times harsher than for rape and robbery. This is not justice."

Freedom of Speech and Assembly are still American values.
Welcome to my new blog. As I start my journey through the American justice system (see About Me), I figured I should start chronicling and documenting the process. I know I'm not the only one facing persecution for my beliefs and actions, and if I can share information and resources with kindred folk out there, we are all empowered. Our crime? We dared to grow and/or use and/or smoke and/or eat a plant that's been on Earth for thousands of years.
In this day and time, it's scary to be a medical marijuana patient. We've gone underground for protection. Secrecy and privacy (and a healthy degree of paranoia) are necessary because THEY really are out to get us. Private property, the US Constitution, State's rights, State laws, voters wishes - victims of the War on Drugs. Not me, I'm no victim ...
Time for me to come out of the basement and fight!
