No Extradition for the Vancouver 3

The DEA has reached it's long arm to Canada by arranging the arrest and demanding the extradition of Marc Emery, Michelleemery1.jpg Rainey and Greg Williams.  The US government wants to put them on trial in this country because he operated a legitimate, legal business in Vancouver, Canada, selling cannabis seeds on the InterNet.  Karen Tandy, Director of the DEA, let slip the real reason for Emery's persecution.  Have no doubt, it is motivated purely for political purposes.

They thought they could shut the Prince of Pot up by intimidation, fear, terror, bankrupty, prison.  They don't even care if it's ultimately held up in court or not - they just want to destroy him - and kill the movement. What kind of government do we have that would put a man like this in prison for life?

US Exports Gun Violence to Canada

By arresting Marc Emery and the Vancouver 3, the US government states it has taken a dangerous drug/terrorist kingpin out of the world's illicit drug trade. They liken him to Pablo Escabar.

Reality check for US citizens.

Emery openly sold cannabis seeds for years to anyone who wanted to plant them in the earth, nourish them with food and water, and grow plants like God intended us to do.

The United States, on the other hand, is the world's leading exporter of weaponry, from hand-guns to 50 caliber sniper rifles to bombs tipped with depleted uranium. We spend more money on military and "defense" than the rest of the world combined.  Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld have started the biggest arms race in the world's history.

In a recent article Canadian authorities say about half of all illegal handguns seized annually by police are smuggled over the border from the US, the other half are stolen or bought illegally within Canada or over the internet.   Canadian customs officials confiscated 1,500 guns at the US border in 2004 – and that’s just from checking just three percent of cars - so they could be missing nearly 50,000 guns.

So why isn't the Canadian government coming into our country, arresting gun sellers and demanding their extradition to stand trial in Canada?

Cocaine vs BC Bud

In the States we hear much about BC Bud and high-grade marijuana being smuggled south from Canada.  Little is mentioned that the smuggling goes both directions.  I've already mentioned guns, but Americans are also importing cocaine, crack and meth into Canada.

Canadians send herb and seeds from the earth into the US.  Americans send some of the most hideous substances known to mankind into Canada.

Hypocrisy is a word I hate to associate with our common national attitude. Our US government is demonizing Marc Emery, a peaceful man who's only "crime" as defined by our government was selling the seeds of an ancient, proven medicinal plant.   By equating Emery's actions with that of crack, meth and heroin traffickers, they are perpetuating a hoax on us, the American people, one that was started 80 years ago as part of the propaganda campaign to get cannabis prohibited in the first place.

The hysteria, the claims of crime and passion and madness associated with cannabis use has long been replaced with truth and reality and factual, scientific, judicial research.  But, has it?  The DEA still uses the same rhetoric in the War on Drugs.  Which is really a War on Marijuana.  Which is really a War on People who refuse to accept the DEA's version of reality as defined by the Bush/Cheney regime.

** DC note - I'm just curious - how do Canadians feel about your southern neighbor?  The Bush administration screwed you on soft-wood tariffs for years, not to mention US actions in Guantanamo alone has threatened the security and safety of our entire hemisphere. Now, your Canadian tax $ are being diverted into weapons of destruction as your new government joins the world's arms race.  For one thing, our nationalistic spirit would be outraged if the Canadian government did the same thing in our country.

We'd be mightily pissed if the police from another government came into our country and demanded we allow them to take a legitimate American businessman and political activist to a foreign country to stand trial on charges that carry a life sentence. Hell, the US under Bush/Cheney wouldn't even sign on to the World Court for fear an American, God forbid, might be tried on foreign soil.

On behalf of all of who still have a conscience - sorry.

Emery Faces Life Imprisonment for Selling a "Wonder of Nature"

This is the dangerous drug Marc Emery is accused of trafficking worldwide. The US government wants to put Emery in federal prison for LIFE for selling cannabis seeds legitimately on the Internet. This is insane.

"The Seeds of the marijuana plant are a wonder of nature. They are one of three natural substances in the world that humans can actually live on, with absolutely nothing else but water. It is said that Buddha lived on one Cannabis seed a day.

Marijuana seeds, when properly pressed and processed into oil form hold great medical benefits, which has been well documented over the centuries.

Marijuana oil contains the following

Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's)

Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) are renowned for their remarkable healing and balancing properties. These unique fatty acids assist the function of the digestive, cardiovascular, immune and glandular systems. They are vital for the metabolism of cholesterol, for blood pressure control, for hormone production, as well as for the health of nails, hair and skin. Our product contains the ideal ratio of Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.

Alpha-Linolenic Acid (Omega 3)

Health benefits include protection against heart disease, improvement in oxygen transport throughout the body and the reduction of excessive LDL cholesterol production.

Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA)

Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) is an essential fatty acid that comes primarily from plant-based oils. A healthy body may derive some GLA from Linoleic Acid (Omega 6). People who have diabetes are less able than healthy individuals to convert linoleic acid into GLA. Other conditions that appear to reduce the body's ability to convert LA to GLA include aging, alcoholism, atopic dermatitis, premenstrual syndrome, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. These people may require GLA supplementation.

The body uses GLA to produce eicosanoids that are highly anti-inflammatory, dilate blood vessels and reduce blood clotting. Very few natural sources have any pure GLA whatsoever. Marijuana oil EFA composition is 84% linolenic acid and over 2% of pure GLA.

GLA has been clinically indicated to have therapeutic benefits in many health conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis; Cardiovascular disease, such as high blood pressure and Atherosclerosis; Cancer, particularly Colon Cancer, Breast Cancer and Melanoma; Osteoporosis; and Skin Conditions such as eczema and psoriasis."
