US Exports Gun Violence to Canada

By arresting Marc Emery and the Vancouver 3, the US government states it has taken a dangerous drug/terrorist kingpin out of the world's illicit drug trade. They liken him to Pablo Escabar.

Reality check for US citizens.

Emery openly sold cannabis seeds for years to anyone who wanted to plant them in the earth, nourish them with food and water, and grow plants like God intended us to do.

The United States, on the other hand, is the world's leading exporter of weaponry, from hand-guns to 50 caliber sniper rifles to bombs tipped with depleted uranium. We spend more money on military and "defense" than the rest of the world combined.  Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld have started the biggest arms race in the world's history.

In a recent article Canadian authorities say about half of all illegal handguns seized annually by police are smuggled over the border from the US, the other half are stolen or bought illegally within Canada or over the internet.   Canadian customs officials confiscated 1,500 guns at the US border in 2004 – and that’s just from checking just three percent of cars - so they could be missing nearly 50,000 guns.

So why isn't the Canadian government coming into our country, arresting gun sellers and demanding their extradition to stand trial in Canada?
