Dear Karen Tandy, Director of the DEA,

I came across this article and I think you should read it, too. It tells of people who's children were desperately ill and found benefit from using cannabis.  I know, I know Karen, you are absolutely convinced that marijuana is evil and has no medical value whatsoever.  But, please, you've got to be an intelligent woman and I don't doubt you'd do whatever it took to help your own sick children.  Here's the article in it's entirety ...

What I'd really like to know is this: If your own child was terminally ill and the doc said "We've tried everything.  I suggest you try marijuana now."  would you continue to stand by your propaganda even if it meant watching your son or daughter die in misery and suffering?  People face this decision every day and, instead of throwing them in prison, maybe you should think about compassion and understanding and empathy.
