Identity Theft and Meth Use

The New York Times this morning ran an article detailing the correlation of ID theft to meth use. Direct quote "After law enforcement officers in Washington reported that high percentages of their identity theft cases involved methamphetamine, including 100 percent in Spokane County, Senator Maria Cantwell, Democrat of Washington, proposed a bill to study the connection."

As taxpayers, don't you all think it's time to question our government's priorities?  I was at court yesterday and the system is absolutely swamped with cases like this charge "Conspiracy to attempt to Possess Drug Paraphernalia, to wit one Marijuana pipe."

C'mon people, fellow Americans, remember who we are and why we fought that fucking Revolutionary War in the first place.  Geez, we've got documented statistics regarding meth and crime but our government continues to pursue marijuana plant growers and cannabis seed purveyors?  Please read my "Tale of Three Houses: Meth, Marijuana and Murder" if you have any doubt about what I'm saying.
